cd dvd too slow in windows 8

i have windows 8 pc bought 3 months ago at start it's cd/dvd rom was working very correct but now its like too slow can anyone help me i am pleased to know the solution

it is reading cd/dvd very slow it is copying files from cd/dvd to pc very slow

It's not necessarily the optical drive. It could be whatever drive the optical drive is copying to (eg the hard drive).
