Cd not reading in my cd drive

Hello, the parmeter is incorrect message, When I am trying to open files from a cd from my cd drive

Uninstall the CD drive in Device Manager (right click > uninstall)
Then restart Windows to force re-installation of the driver.

If still no go, check the the CD drive is connected properly.

If none of the above helps, it is probably a motherboard problem.
