I have been given the task of producing a new marketing cd from my boss...
Does anyone besides Epson make printers that allow direct CD printing? Does
anyone know if Epson or any other manufacturer make an all in one that have
cd printing capabilities.

My boss think I can you labels but I think its kind of tacky. My budget is
low for this project... Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Thanks.

Canon makes cd printers, but they are not available in the US.There are a
couple of thermal printers that will print a title or such,Casio and
Primera. It might be better to have a labeled disc made by a screen printing
company. This is more professional looking.Of course without knowing how many
discs you need,it is hard to say if this will be worth it.

Take a look at the Epson R200. It does full color printing on CD/DVD blanks
that are inkjet printable.
For a short run, say some presentations, it might be just the ticket for
what you want.

I love the way the CD's print with my Epsons. They look very high quality.
If you use the R800 they will also be waterproof.

I've done a ton of R300 CDs Never ever thought or worried about
waterproofing them using TY hub printables. MOF I'm making a lot of
Tshirt transfers for friends right now using the R300s [I have two bought
'em in January] and HP iron-on transfers...its fun and quite good output

I don't think the CD printing option (on the Canon) is available in Canada
either. Just Europe/UK, Australasia.
