Hi:
One day to the next my CD-ROM drive icon is missing. Running Win XP home
edition. Went to Regedit and deleted value data for LowerFilters; there is no
Key for UpperFilter. Rebooted and same issue. Any ideas?

Have you added any hardware recently? Your power supply may not be up to
it.
