CD-RW Errors

I have a new TDK VeloCD 16/10/40xa. It came with InCD software for writing to a CD-RW disk. The problem is after using it, I eject the CD using the software and I get a BSOD. I have no idea if the data on the disk is good or not. I upgraded to the newest version of InCD but that didn't help. Is CD-RW not all that, or is InCD a piece of crap?

It wasn't done with the CD, you ejected it too soon.

Did it say that the disc was "done" already?
Have you used any other burning programs?

InCD is not as good as PacketCD, InCD only works with CDRW whereas PacketCD is for both CDR-CDRW.

The light stopped blinking so I assumed it was done. That could be it though since if I don't write anything to the disc and eject I don't get any errors.

Can I use PacketCD? I didn't know what else I could use. InCD is what came with the drive.

Most of the time these days, you're going to have to fork out a little more money to buy some decent software.

"you're going to have to fork out a little more money to buy some decent software."

Or you can just take a weekend trip to China, and pick up every thing you need for under $50 US.

Rich is the nation that has many war heroes. Long since forgotten...
