Have a Creative Blaster 8432 (yes thats outof date, but where I am(Tasmania) is behind the times)
Audio, data CD's and CD-RW's read ok.
Problem is when I'm copying to a blank CD-R it doesn't recognise the disk.(blank CD-RW disks are fine & read & burn)
Tried updating drivers & have even changed software.
Application system tests result in ok status.
Any clues as to what I can try/test next?
Any suggestions would be appreciated as supplier had none.

Try using a different brand of CDR.

Um... I don't think that one would "format" a regular CDR.

No, umm I never heard of a CD-R being formatted either.
Have tried 3 brands of CD-R.
Just thought i'd try these boards to be certain before ripping out the drive and returning to the supplier in case it was a software/typical problem.
Thanks for peoples input...
