cd won't burn with ECS K75S

My LITEONIT CDRW which worked with my intel system wont burn with my AMD t-bird/ECS mobo. I updated the flash from LITEONIT and it still won't go. Anyone know what to do?

What program are you using?
And by "won't burn", do you mean it won't be recognized at all or something else?

it reads but when i try to burn, I get a SCSI/ATAPI time out error. I use Nero which came with the CDRW. I know the CDRW drive is good since it works on a separate system.
