CDRW headaches

I have a LITEON CD burner. It burns CDRs well with Nero, but for CDRW (InCD software), an annoying thing happens. Sometimes, while burning to CDRW, I get a message saying the disc is unstable, will treat as read only, reformat disc. The CDRW discs are 2x speed (I can burn CDRW up to 10x), and have only been used about 10 times max. They are supposed to offer much greater usage. After I reformat the discs, the same errors tend to occur again.

Is this usual for CDRW media or am I having bad luck with my setup?

Also, what's the model # and OS? Maybe you're burning the CD's?
