Celeron Tualatin O/C?

go to http://www.overclockers.com at the CPU database. There are many overclocking results about this Tuali.

Mine wouldn't go stably over 1480, regardless of how much voltage or cooling I added.

You're posting in a forum with class. It may be third class, but it's still class!

Try a 1A GHz Celeron, it will give you better control over OC due to its lower multiplier. Basically its the same chip 1.2 GHz is, just made to run at 12X

Its the *binning* trick intel does with the processors that makes same chips run at different speeds, for arious reasons. Dont have all the info offhand, but you can search for a post containing the word "binning", I have a couple of those too.

girish

Every point I make has 'n' perspectives!
Boy do I need a disclaimer for my every word?

My friend, I have a major secret for you. My Tualatin 1.2 GHz Celeron runs at 1.6 Ghz and that's not even Overclocked. GET READY TO FREAK because not 1 user on the entire internet has one. I HAVE AS MANY AS I WANT.

I figured out a secret formula for turning Celeron 1.2 GHz chips into "FULLY UNRELEASED BUT 100% OFFICIAL ****PENTIUM III FAMILY POSTING 1.6GHz on a 133MHz FSB. @@@####STOCCKKKK####@@@. That's the ***NORMAL**** SPEED.
OH MY, THAT"S THE STOCK SPEED 41 Degress with NORMAL FAN COOLING!!!, not even breaking a sweat. OH MY!!

MY CHIPS OVERCLOCK to 2.2 GHz, What a F$%$$IN RUSH!!!!!
