Certian programs wont connect to internet.

Please help! My computer can connect to the internet just fine, and i am able to play my games. But my background downloaders wont work for world of warcraft or for maplestory. My zune program wont connect to the internet as well. I have tried messing with my firewall properties but to no avail. any suggestions?

Which firewall are we talking about here? The one on the router, or perhaps a local firewall (AVG, Norton, McAfee, etc.) on the computer itself? If it’s a local firewall, which one is it, and if you disable it, does everything work normally?
