I have never used the chainsaw in Doom 3.
It was my Imp Destruction Tool in Doom 1 & 2, and of course the ONLY
tool to kill Pinky's!
Other's post about chainsawing the cherubs, which I need to try, as they
get nasty up close, but I usually try to hit them with a shotgun. One
blast blows their wings off, and they become crawlies, then a second
blast to kill them.

The chainsaw is also works wonders on the Sargent. Don't even go into the
area. Just start shooting rockets and when he approches you at the entrance
take out the chainsaw and rip into his belly.

Chainsaw works great on the Archviles.

its the quickest way of wasting a hell-knight...

The double-barrled shotgun was great on demons!

Double barrled shotgun was great on the Hell Knight too!
