So im not really sure if this is a ok place to ask this but im not sure where else. Im looking at getting a new chair to add to my setup, my current one is starting to be uncomfortable. Im not looking to spend hundreds of dollars on a chair. Ive been looking into the Staples Vartan Gaming chair, however their are some reviews that complain that the chair deflates after a few months as well as breaking and what not. I was wondering what kind of chairs you guys use and what you might recommend for a budget chair that is good and comfortable.

Solution
I did look at this chair, it was pretty comfortable however im not sure about the mesh, it gets cold in my room a lot and having a closed chair (at least for the seat) is nice to keep me warm. I have been looking at this model. https://www.staples.com/Staples-Mca...rs-Chair-Black/product_2710763?akamai-feo=off It was also very compfy, only thing is im not sure how well the cushion will hold up, my current one is compeltely gone, i have a foam pad to sit on just to make it bearable. I tried the varkin chair today and it felt comfortable without the lumbar pillow, but im also not sure on the seat cushion. I really only need it to last 3-4 years before ill upgrade again.

Bonded leather can be an issue...
Same brand but different model, the Hyken mesh chair. You can thank my mother for introducing me to that model, they bought two, then I bout one. Best chair I ever owned, more comfortable than office chairs 2-3 times the price.

Bonded leather can be an issue, in cheaper furniture it can peel and crack. What you may think about doing it putting a foam pad under the mesh seat or on the back also to close it off. Neoprene foam is pretty good and easy to cut and work with and easy to find.

Really up to you, I was just mentioning it since I really like the Hyken chair, and I work at a retailer that does get many chairs in for samples and have tried out a dozen + of them, none were as good for my butt at least hehe.

Sorry for the late response, i did get to try the chair out, it was pretty comfortable but it seemed ackward for gaming. I am looking for something that is comfortable to sit in for a few hours at a time, wont break the bank and would be better for a position in gaming(both arms on armrests because ive got longer arms, leaned back, etc.). Thats why i was looking into the "gaming" chair style, the staples one would be great except that i use the arm rests to get up sometimes(on my current chair the hydrolic lift blew out so its as low as it can go, being higher up i might not need to use them)

My previous DXRacer lasted almost exactly 4 years. Great chair.
Then, it simply wouldn't hold the vertical.

Now, I have the above mentioned Hyken. Different, but also great.
Ive looked into the dxracer but no one sells one near me that i can test out, id have to order directly from their website. Is the Hyken deacnt for gaming positions? I usually lean back a little when gaming and have my arms on the arm rests.

"gaming" is subjective.
Everyones posture and butt are different.
Very true, i just mention gaming because thats mostly what i use my pc for, i know some chairs are designed for ergonomics for typing etc. Im almost wondering if i should just bite the bullet, maybe buy a 3 year warrenty from staples and get the vartan chair, bucket seat, recline. The only thing i dont like about it is the arm rests move a lot.

I don't have any issues with my Hyken chair and the armrests, they are pretty solid and I use them often.
