I haven't runned it yet because I'm still buying parts but I bought an asrock h77m board and I have gotten it out of the box and looked at it but I just want to know what's the chance of it being dead

Anyways the chances of DOA can be very high to very low. There is no way to tell, it's like trying to predict the lottery. Chances are though it's good.

I wish I could test it but I don't have way to
