Hi thanks for reply, I want to give my old laptop to my daughter but don't want to have it linked to my account would rather it had her email address instead of mine so she doesn't get any of my personal information.

Sorry I replied as a new person, The reason is I want to give my laptop to my daughter but want to use her email account instead of mine as I don't want her to have my password and get hold of any of my personal information

It was my license upgraded from windows 7

hmmm.....

Not sure how you can unlink it from that original MS account and Win 7 upgrade, without a new OS license purchase.

You can create a whole new Admin account for her, and not give her the admin account password for your account.

Try it and see what happens. Just create a whole new admin account, and see if it can access any of your MS account data.
