change assignment pf numeric + key

When I press the numeric + key it moves the cursor instead of typing +

What brand of keyboard are you using? try updating your drivers in control panel

the change occurred when I upgraded to Widows 10. I have tried two different keyboards, an HP ad a Microsoft. I have updated all the drivers. I was able to change the assignment of the minus key by using Sharpkeys, but the plus key could not be changed. Also, my N key does not work, unless I press the CAPS lock key, and hold down the shift key while I press N. The plus key types the plus sign if I hold down the shift key when I press plus.

No such button in my taskbar. I have selected English United States as my layout.

All I can find is mouse keys but they don't appear to mention the + key: https://www.microsoft.com/enable/training/windows8/use-numeric-keypad.aspx
