Change CD Key?

I installed my one legal copy of UT2004 on two different machines, in
case one was in use so I could play on the other, but now I've got a
friend who will play with me, so I've ordered another legal copy of
the game. Is there an easy way to just enter the new CD key to
authorize the other machine, or do I have to uninstall and reinstall
the whole game (and will that even work)?

Thanks!

Just search for your current key in the registry
and replace it when you get your new one.

You should find it in the registry key >
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Unreal Technology\Installed Apps\UT2004
