I've been using the LG 22MP68VQ monitor with my PC. When I power up the system, it takes at least 15 seconds for the monitor to show the first screen. I consulted the manual and found the default input is set to D-SUB. So I'm guessing the delay is due to the monitor cycling from D-SUB till it goes to HDMI.

Is there a way to change the default input to HDMI using the BIOS or any other software route. Because I can't find the option in the On Screen Control.

hard to change that, if the firmwere doesnt allow it, is it a problem to leave the dispay on? they use very little power in idle mode. i never turn of my monitor. Just set monitor not to search inputs automaticly, and set up its HDMI and it should work...

Yeah that's what I want to do. But can't find any option in the OSD to do that.

yea just checked the manual, its wierd
see manual Page 17, it looks like he cant turn of auto but you can change it here then leave your dispay on it should start on HDMI faster....

I've tried that option. All it does is turn the screen black before turning back on. It basically is a toggle to switch between inputs. Since there is only one input, it just goes blank and comes back. So no way to turn auto off or set to HDMI
