I was playing around with my RAM speeds and thought changing the voltage could get me to a higher speed, when I saved it the PC restarted and was unable to post...I searched around for answers and so they said to remove my cmos battery, I unplugged my power cable and took out my gpu (because it was blocking) then I removed the battery and waited for 5 minutes, I put everything back but my pc was still unable to post, the fans were spinning and the lights were working. I should not have changed the voltage, please advice me a way to fix this thank you very much.

my specs:
asrock z370 pro4
16gb ram
i5 8500
gtx 1060 6gb

Removing cmos battery should have reset bios back to defaults. It's possible something else is going on.

What's your system specs and what sort of voltages did you apply for the memory?

Check things over again, power/ video cables to graphics card. Try one stick of ram in the slot designated for single stick, usually 2nd slot from cpu.

Make sure cmos battery went back correctly, usually + side up. Check graphics card is being fully seated also.

I tried doing it again and check the gpu if its fully seated, I also tried to use only one stick of RAM but nothing is working. The cmos battery's + is also facing the top.

Well 1.3v wouldn't have killed anything. DDR4 are rated for 1.35v and can go as high as 1.5v, though inadvisable, but still capable with expectation the cpu's memory controller wouldn't last very long, albeit not an instant kill deal.

Only way of knowing if cpu related is put in another one.
