Hello,
I have a HP Model G50-133US laptop computer with a dual cpu 2.16GHz,2.17GHz I'd have to do is switch from IDE to AHCI in the bios and I would like to install xp sp2,I did not find any option to change in BIOS settings please help me out..........

You will not be able to install windows xp in AHCI without special drivers and your laptop probably doesn't even support it if you dont see the option under storage config in bios then you cant do it. AHCI will only work with windows vista and 7 without special drivers XP makes it a little difficult.
