Question Change HDD to SSD

Hello, I have a normal HDD hard drive and I want to change it for an SSD, my question is if they are both the same cables? I mean I just remove the HDD and put in the SSD and use the same cables that the HDD used on the SSD.

How would it be ?

If it is a SATA SSD, then (probably) no problem.
But there will be no data on it. It will be totally blank.

Give us some more details.
What drives? (make/model)
What OS?

If your new SSD is 2.5" SATA, then it has the very same cables as your old 3.5" HDD uses. Just pull the cables from HDD and hook to SSD.

Since SSD is 2.5" SATA drive, same cables work with it as your 3.5" HDD is using. Both the power and data cable are the same, SATA cables.

So sure...you can replace the HDD with the Kingston SSD. Same cables.
There will be nothing on the Kingston, but it will work.
