Change ide to ahci without reinstall windows

I have on bios sata controller to ide and want to change to ahci mode but i bore reinstall windows please tell me if we have any solution for this!!

MB: ASUS VII MAXIMUS HERO
SSD : SAMSUNG EVO 840 120 GB
WINDOWS 7 64 BIT

It is simple to do and I've done it many times. Just make a registry change and then restart and make the bios change at that point. HERE is a good how to guide.
