I currently have windows 7 installed on a 60GB SSD. Not much space is left and I have trouble installing new programs. I recently bought a 128GB ssd. Can I use the same copy of windows? Is there a way I can deactivate windows on this drive?
The old copy is fine if you have a serial, yes, you can wipe the old drive, but why not use the 120GB as a storage drive? It makes more sense having the OS on the smaller drive 60Gb drive, just install programs and games to the 120. Means that a reformat in the future won't mean loss of data.
Just remove the drive. Or install the new drive and windows on it. A disconnected drive/drive that isn't used as a bootdrive cannot interfere with a current installation.-

And do I have to buy a new copy of windows or can I use the windows that is already downloaded on my current boot drive on the new one?

I've already got a 1TB storage drive. The problem with the 60GB SSD is that it is too small. Sometimes I even have trouble installing programs and new GeForce Drivers. Its kinda annoying. Earlier I was trying to update 3D Mark, even though I had 200GB+ free on my storage drive, it would let me install due to there only being 1 gig left on my boot drive. What I think I'll do is just put my most played games onto the 60GB drive. Thanks for your help.
