Change my HD 7850

Hi, i was thinking on changing my HD 7850 1GB because of the 1GB starting to be a problem. I can't spend money right now, not more than 800ars, I was thinking on getting almost the same card with 2gb, what is the equivalent to the 7850 nowadays? Or the nvidia equivalent?

Also, I have an Intel i5 2500k, it's okey with the 7850?

Rx 460 is the slightly stronger equivalent , you're not going to do one with that budget though.

& yes you could go right up to the rx480/gtx960 with a 2500k.
