Change new psu

I want to get gtx 1060 and i have psu 500w ZU 500.is it a must to replace my psu to a better one?

Yes, I read your earlier post and it is an absolute must replace, it is a hazard to your PC and no one here would tell you to continue using a cheap PSU or to buy a cheap PSU. not only is its quality suspect but you also stated earlier that it does not contain all the cabling you need. please just heed the advice in the previous post.

Definitely agree with Kil3. However, to answer the question another way, definitely yes. Not because 500w isn't enough power, it is more than enough power. But because the psu is the heart of your system and a lemon psu can cause lots of problems. It's worth investing in a psu that at least has some quality to it.

Yes, that would be a great replacement 550w plenty of wattage, semi-modular, with an 80+ bronze rating from a trusted manufacturer.

try to better on that...cxm not the best of units and is a tier 4...use this list as a rough guide...anything upto tier 3 shd be fine considering its a new card that u wanna keep for long...
