Hi all!

Hi people,

I have a Lenovo Legion Y520 Tower PC with these specs:
MB: intel B250
CPU: intel core i3 7100
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti (This card looks strange - physically, maybe because it's from an ''unknown'' manufaturer)
RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400mhz
PSU: 280W (thats all the info I have)

Now that you know my pc, I have a few questions:
1. Can I upgrade the CPU to i7 7700K and is it worh it?
2. I can buy an Asus Strix GTX 1060 OC 6GB RGB from a friend for a really low price. Is it worth it? I mean, is it much better than the 1050 Ti and will be there any bottlenecks?
3. Do I need a PSU upgrade if I buy a CPU, GPU or even both at once? If so, how much W do I need then?

Thank you for your time and help!

Cheers,
Deni

yes , not worth it over a i7 7700 because your mobo cannot overclock

yes, no bottlenecks with a i7 7700 no

yes. before you do any GPU upgrading this need to be first you need a good 500w or better power supply

Thank you for your reply!
If I keep my i3 7100 and buy that asus 1060 gpu will I get bottlebecks?
I will also get a new PSU of course. Like, 500W real power? I dont really understand PSUs :)
