In short, new rig being built as a gift to my younger brother. My last built had loads of conflicts and it took weeks to fine tune so I'm hoping you'll be able to pin point any shady/problematic areas with what I have in mind.
So I've come down to the following components based on system reviews from the articles on this site:
MOBO: MSI P67A-G45 B3, Socket-1155 ( ATX, P67, DDR3, 2xPCIe(2.0)x16, CFX, SATA 6Gb/s, USB3.0, FW, EFI )
CPU: Intel® Core™ i5-2500K Processor (Socket-LGA1155, Quad Core, 3.3Ghz, 6MB, 95W, Boxed w/fan)
Graphics: 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 ( PCI-Express 2.1, 2xDVI-I, HDMI, DisplayPort, 775MHz, Lite-Retail ) in CrossFire config.
In the article they mentioned G skill ram but getting it here will be hard, so I'll match some 8 GB Corsairs no worries on this.
Everything else I got. And I need to know if this hardware config sounds like a good plan for a rig that should handle the new games coming out eq. BF 3.
Maybe there are better options? in the same priceclass or if it's worth spending a little more I'm down with that given it would dramatically improve the performance.
Best regards
//Chris.
