Change Operating System back to Windows 7

I have Windows 8.1 on my HP18 All-In-One. Just purchased this computer new in July 2014. I am 79 years old and do not wish to learn a new Program. My computer is my Daily Entertainment and I want to be comfortable with it just as I was when I used Windows 7. Is there a way that I can get permission to change my OS back to Windows 7? You can reinstall Windows 7 from a disk, but you'll have to buy a copy.

In order to do that, you'll have to boot from the disk and then install windows 7
