Hello everyone,
I have a question, I recently changed the fan from my pc because it burned the old one. My cooler is an Arctic Freezer 13 CO and the fan of it just burned, however I still have the stock cooler and fan from my cpu (I5 4690s). I managed to change the fan from the custom cooler and put the blade with the new let's just say engine on the same frame from the Arctic one. My question is what would happen if I keep the radiator from the Arctic one but the fan is from my stock cooler ?

nothing really. so long as the fan is up to the challenge. the fans from stock intel coolers are pretty much junk. so you downgraded for sure there.

a simple ~$10 static pressure fan would be a better way to go to replace the one that died. the better the fan, the better the cooler will work obviously.
