The clock on my PC (WinXP) is supposed to automatically synch with the internet time server at 4:41 AM. I would like to change that time, but I haven't been able to come up with a search string that results in any useful answers. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

Sorry, that just makes my eyes glaze over. Am I imagining this, or didn't I choose the time for the automatic synch when I first set up this computer? And if so, shouldn't I be able to choose a different time if I want to? So I guess what I'm looking for is where that setting would be. Any ideas?

ok the way the up date system for the time works is to simply wait a allotted number of seconds from the last update this count is changeable by using regedit.exe

if you want to change the time is does it at just click update now
if you want to change the time between updates from the standard 7 days you will need to edit the registry
or \Create a task and ask the time service to up date the time at what ever time or as often as you like.
