Hello.

I have DSL Router (TP-LINK TL-R860) where network cable is connected. I can change settings for this at http://192.168.1.1/.

Now my problem. From TL-R860 I get a LAN cable, connected to TP-LINK TL-WR740N who create wireless with default name and without password - how I can change that? If I try to access http://192.168.1.1/ still TL-R860 appears there.

Sorry for bad english.

Solution
If I powered-down that WR740N and disconnected it from the router, then powered-down my PC and hooked it directly into the WR740N, and powered up the device then the PC, maybe it's standard IP address would be functional and you could alter its UserID and Password. Then, shut everything down and re-connect all the pieces in proper order.
From a DOS box, type

IPCONFIG

and see what "Default Gateway" IP Address is. It should be some "192.168.1.__" value.

NOTE:
DOS box... from the RUN line, type "CMD" and press ENTER...

This presents an old-style "DOS box" with a C: prompt.

Then, type "IPCONFIG" and press ENTER.
