After changing my 15 4570 to an i7 4770, I get four beeps from my computer... but nothing else.
An old thread tells it might the power supply. Mine has 350 watt and I was told that should be enough..

It runs on an ASRock 85m

What is the bad truth?

Thank you

Thank you very much, you were totally correct. I took out the cpu again, and saw a tiny piece of whatever lying in the second row.
I took the aircan and blew it away, put it all back together and... magic !!!!!
Using CPU-Z I checked all the data incl benchmark... and bingo!

I always hat taking off the fan-cooler as two of the plastic sockets are already broken, but it went smoothly.

So, once again, thank you, and everybody else..... you took load off an old man's brain....
