[SOLVED] Changed mobos and now pc won’t boot up

I changed motherboards from an as rock zkiller 270 to an as rock itachi to support 9th gen cpus.

After replacing it my pc won’t boot up at all or even give a signal part of it is working. in the past the pc has started running then overheated or flashed red in to tell me something is wrong. I have tried and checked everything but nothing is working.

why would even bother 9th gen when theres a 10th gen? anyways its different, your core 6xxx or 7xxx series wont be compatible with Asrock Taichi Z370/390. Their chipset is different.

i’m switching from a 1070 ti to an i9 9900k

owh... you could save some bucks by using an i7 10700k and a z490 motherboard, with the same specs on cpu
