Changed motherboards and now experiencing slow start ups

Hello,

I recently moved my system into a new case for cooling reasons. I have ALWAYS used MSI motherboards in the past. Previously I was using a MSI Z97M Gaming. I moved my system into another case and decided to give ASUS a try. I'm using the Z97-A.

Specs:
4770k
ASUS Z97-a
16GB DDR3
GTX 970 SLI
H80i CPU Cooler
Crucial 500 GB SSD (Boot Drive)
1.5TB HDD Storage

I am pretty unfamiliar with ASUS bios and don't like it much so far. Whats getting under my skin are the windows boot times. Its taking over 20 seconds to get everything loaded. My MSI boards usually get me up and running in under 5 seconds.

Windows was installed from scratch and I closely monitor all start up programs.

The only thing I see that may be different is the ASUS motherboard doesn't see my SSD as UEFI for some reason. It is only seeing one of storage drives as UEFI. Fast boot is enabled.

Any help would be appreciated.

Disconnect your secondary HDD and see if the boot times improves, If it does then you've got to set your bios to ignore this drive at start up, If it doesn't improve try plugging your SSD into a different SATA 6Gb/s slot.
