Changed SATA port

Hi, i was sorting out the cables in my pc and i changed the port that the boot drive was plugged into. everything works fine but now i get an error message every time i boot up, so i change the SATA port again and it boots fine. then if i boot my pc later on i get the same error message
can anyone help me?

Possibly a bad sata data cable, id suggest swapping it out and trying again

also id suggest checking your sata config in bios, make sure its ahci and all that jazz

Check your boot settings in your bios and make sure they match your physical connections.

what do you mean "make sure its ahci and all that jazz" sorry, im a noob

go into the bios and look at your sata config, or if you dont really care about saving your bios config, then go into the bios and just reset the settings to default
