Hey everyone! I recently changed my wifi password for my d link router, it allows me to connect to the router but once it is connected it says: "No connection, secured" after briefly having access to the internet for 2 minutes. Any suggestions would be wonderful! If it helps my router is the dsl-2750. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any responses!

Need some details here, the router can't connect to the internet or your devices connected to the router can't connect? Those are different things. Is it WiFi that is not working or ethernet also? All you did was change the WiFi password you had setup? Did you try power cycling it?

My devices have no problem connecting to the router and both my laptop and my android indicate they are connected to the router but the router now has an issue with connecting to the internet. Both devices are connected by wifi. I am unsure if it's the devices that are unable to get internet through the router or if its the router that cant connect to the internet but all the normal lights are on for the router and had no problems prior to the password change. Is there any way of diagnosing which part is failing? I have done the power cycle, even leaving it off for a whole day with no success. Thank you for your response :)

Sadly I am running a razer blade laptop (sold my desktop argh) and those have no ethernet ports for some reason. I can ask a friend to bring his old hp, it has a ethernet port, which I think I may do and see where i can go from there because currently i can access the router page for a few seconds before the wifi cuts out but is strangely says i am still connected to the router but have no connection (what it says on the windows 10 wifi menu thingy) . Thank you for the fast reply. Why so hard to change wifi internet?!?!

Do an ipconfig command when you are connected, and then again when you lose connection, does the IP when you can't get online or to the router show 169.x.x.x?

Hi "Hang-the-9",
I am also facing the similar issue. After changing the Wifi password from my router settings, now my Router can`t connect to the Internet though my devices like iOS are able to connect to the Wifi with old password though there`s no Internet connectivity. Can you please help?
