Changing a CPU

I wish to upgrade my Samsung R540 CPU to a
Intel Core i5 4670K Quad Core Retail CPU (Socket 1150, 3.40GH 6MB. Will it Fit? What socket is the Motherboard?, is it an 1150 or an 1155?

Your laptop can not easily be upgraded. Since it is a mobile platform that is probably custom build for samsung, i would not take a chance and upgrade to a cpu that is not one of the choices when you buy the laptop. The CPUs that are delivered with this are: Intel Core i3 350M, Intel Core i3 370M, Intel Core i3 380M, Intel Core i5 450M, Intel Pentium P6100 . All of these are mobile cpus. A regular cpu will not work with this. Remember also that changing the CPU will probably void your warranty.
