Changing computer name via command line

Hello,
I wanted cess my drive C: but telling me access denied and when the system reboot it do show this msg parameter error. so what i discover was that it is complaining about the computer name being changed pls help me out

Hi. Try a System Restore to restore your system to before the name change.

1. Restart Vista
2. When the system boots (right after POST), press F8 to bring up the boot menu
3. Select the Safe Mode with Command Prompt option
4. Log-on as administrator if you need to
5. At the command prompt type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe
6. Press Enter
6. This will open the system restore wizard.

You can also do this from the Vista install CD.

If this fails, then do a System Repair using the Vista install CD...gwb56
