Hey I have a evo 212 and i was going to buy a amd fx 9590 and i wondered if the eve will work with it and will the cpu work on a GA-990XA-UD3 motherboard. And if the fan wont do please suggest another one it will have to fit in a guardian 921 rb.

Solution
that chip runs way too hot for the mainstream coolers. I suppose AIO LC's like Nepton 140XL or Corsair H100i would do the job of getting the 220W TDP at bay

Another thought though, scrap the 220W chip and get the 8350/i5 4690K and some decent overclocking would bring you perf on par or greater than the "furnace" Centurion chips.
EDIT😀idnt notice you mentioned 990FX board,fo go for the 8350 and the 212 cooler should enable you to overclock up to 4.6-4.8ghz relatively easy, based on if you use a good TIM and a well cooled case

Well technically you can run the 9590 on air, like a Noctua NH-D14/15, but I'd be hesitant to do it. If you want to overclock even a little I would go with a minimum of a 280 radiator, if not a 360.

EDIT: Oh wow, just looked at your case and there's not enough space for any radiators bigger than a single 140? If you aren't changing cases you'd have to do some custom watercooling to get enough cooling.
