Hi!
I finally got to a point where i think the only way to fix my problem is to change CPU.
Im having high CPU usage in games that have to use like 50% of my CPU.I've seen videos on youtube with same setup, they runned the game on max settings 100 fps no problems.
my pc:
i5-7400
16 GB ram
GTX 1060 Mini ITX OC 6 gb
asus prime b250 plus mobo
2 ssd 1 hdd
chieftec gps600watt psu.
Can i change to i7-7700k,and will it work?

Have you actually wiped your hard drive and downloaded a copy of windows 10 onto usb and done a new install of windows....

Looking at the asus site, ... assuming your motherboard is the asus prime b250m plus...... it looks like you might have the original bios.... Have you gone to the asus site for your motherboard and download/install the latest 11.8.55.3510 bios?

Literally type the model number of your motherboard into google. That will return as top answer the asus homepage of your particular motherboard. Once on the site, click on support, then drivers/utility.... then just download the latest bios onto a usb stick.

Your asus board should have asus eziflash in the bios..... it should tell you on the first boot screen when you start your pc about the function key to press for eziflash.... Otherwise you can find it in the normal bios menu easily enough.

Just activate it, follow the prompts and it does everything. I reflashed an asus board last week and found the eziflash easy to use, it was 99% automatic.......
