Changing desktop icon size won't rescale some icons?

I don't like the icons that small, so I right click>View>Large Icons.. and this is the result:

Some of the icons rescaled, and some others didn't.
Any idea why?

no idea why but have you tried deleting the short cuts and replacing them? see if the replacements will scale.
the icons with the arrow in the corner can be deleted and replaced like a post-it note

I have tried. I think I'm just going to rescale them manually in Photoshop or something :/.
