changing from a mid tower to a smaller tower

Hi, is it possible to change from a mid tower to a smaller one? I will not be doing high end gaming...but the pc will be use for 5-7hours of light gaming per day..
Games will be playing : league of legends, blackshot, dota 2 and similar games...
I am using my old Intel e7400, with ati radeon HD 4350(planning to upgrade), 4gb of ddr2 ram..
Is it possible to just buy a smaller case and put everything inside?without changing the motherboard and other part...pls note thta I will be changing to a 450w psu and as current one is only 180w

Size of the case has little relevance other than it need be large enough to hold your motherboard and parts.

What is your motherboard size? ITX, M-ATX, ATX?
What case are you looking at?
What needs to go inside?

Simply know the form factor of your motherboard(atx, m-atx etc) and then start shopping for compatible cases.
