Question Changing Graphic cards

hello,
For christmas I was looking towards getting a new graphic card ( RTX 3070) I have a RTX 2060 super in my pc right now, when I change it will i have to change the PCIE Cable or can i keep it the same? thanks

which brand of 3070 you looking at

had a look on amazon the 3070 by palit uses 2x8pin connectors looks like most of the 3070 that are not founders editions are 2x8 pin connectors founders editions are 12pin
as long as your psu is around 650 to 750 w and has 2 x 8 pin cables you should be ok only founders edition is different

The founder's edition requires the 12 pin cable, but the founders edition cards all come with an adapter that takes two 8 pin power cables as input. Thus, all 3070s require 2 x 8 pin cables one way or another.
