I recently changed my Laptops HDD to a new SSD but when i removed the HDD from the laptop i forgot to remove the battery before i changed. Can this damage the HDD in any way? Worth mentioning is that apart from the battery not taken out, the computer was shut off.
The reason I'm concerned is that i cloned the HDD to the SSD after i removed it so I want to be sure that there isn't a big chance for corruption. When I installed the SSD into the laptop it booted up without problems/errors and the OS has been running fine since, just want to know if I should worry that something may be corrupt.
Thanks in advance!
