Hello everyone!
Most likely a peculiar wish, but I would like to standardize my host names on my network. Why is not important (I’m neurotic and have OCD, that’s why), the main thing is to get clean name procedures. However:
1) The names change depending on network scanner app.
2) Some host names refuse to appear. It seems the so called “bonjour” names dominate in those cases.
So – how do I change those names that don’t obey their new host names AND how do I change host names in units without any configuration GUI? Here I think especially about the router, my wireless speaker and so on.
Do I make sense?
