Changing mac address on windows 10 of wifi adapter

My cable modem is down and while I'm waiting on a replacement, I am connected to an xfinity wireless hotspot. But I cannot connect my Samsung smart tv to it so I'm trying to spoof my desktop mac address as the Samsung TV in order to login with my Comcast credentials but the Samsung Mac address starts with 5C and it looks like wifi mac addresses need to start with 02? Any ideas? I tried changing it manually in device manager and using Technitium MAC Address Changer v6.

Were you unable to change the Win PC MAC software address (the actual HW address cannot be changed on most devices) or did it simply not work? I've never had an issue just using Technitium, did it simply not change the address or give you an error?

Can you simply connect the PC to the wireless hotspot and then share the connection with the TV?

If you only have a single wireless adapter on the PC you can create a virtual miniport adapter using THIS, which used to be included in the OS in Win 7. You should then be able to create a second wireless network and share the Internet (easiest to do using Connectify, which I think has a trial period to tide you over)

And if your TV has an Ethernet adapter you can simply use Internet Connection Sharing in Windows to share the hotspot connection.

I entered the mac address and hit ok and it processed it but then when I check 'ipconfig /all', my old address was there. Here is the error that I got with Technitium.
