Changing monitor language

I bought only a monitor, I want to connect it with hdmi but it hasn't worked, I cannot understand what it is meaning because it's language is in German, how can I change?

Make and model monitor?

Go to the manufacturer's website and find the User Guide/Manual. Should show you how to work through the configuration settings and change the language choice.

Or how to reset the monitor back to factory defaults to regain control of the configuration settings.

Another option is to copy the message in German and use an online translator to convert the German to your preferred language.

The translation may help with getting HDMI working.
