Changing Motherboard/CPU, I want to Reinstall windows 10, but only have a Windows 8.1 Disk

Hello, Please forgive me for the long winded title I couldn't think how else to explain my question.

I am changing my CPU/Motherboard along with RAM and have heard that I will need to get a fresh install of windows. Currently I have windows 10, however, it was acquired through the free upgrade from windows 8.1, I have an original windows 8.1 disk that came with my PC so want to know whether I can use that while windows 10 is still installed on the HDD to get a fresh install of 8.1, and then upgrade to 10 after?

No need to install 8.1 first.
