changing mothers in win2000

I change the mother of my machine and windows 2000 stop
booting .
I could not boot in any mode .
The chipset in both mothers is the same (I815).
Someone know how to rebiuld win2000.

What is your previous <i>mother</i> and your current <i>mother</i>? same chipsets may not result in same configurations.
