Changing muy RAm timings

Is it safe to changee my RAM timings because I have some patriot Memeory 4gb 2400 mhz 17.17.17.39 but have some corsair vengence 2400mhz with 16.16.16.39 I want to change the patriot

Yes it is totally safe. When you're using 2 different types of RAM sticks. The motherboard will usually automatically configure it to the slower one. But if it doesn't you can do it yourself. 100% safe.

If youre lucky will the Patriot accept the lower timings,but you might have to increase the Dram voltage for it (all ram). Looking at the speed it might well use 1.2V right now,1.35V is still safe to use so you could go up to that in the bios.

Already tried them together? Mixing ram doesn't always go without problems anyway.
