Changing my motherboard

This question is kinda dumb, but I’ll be changing my b350 mobo with an x370 mobo (both of them were from asus)
Can I just go and install the new x370 drivers (chipset, audio, lan) and hope it’ll overwrite the previous one? Or should I just do a full windows reinstall (I have an FPP version of windows 10 so it won’t be a problem even if I have to reinstall, just kinda lazy to do a fresh install xD)
If I do have to do a fresh install, do I just boot into my windows usb and format my old os ssd during the installation process, or do I need to format it beforehand? Will formatting make my win license usable again? or is there any extra step to do before reinstalling?

do a full install.
there are other drivers beside the chipset that will change.

backup any data you need to save.
boot to USB.
you do not have to format at this point it is up to you. if you do not windows setup will save old information in a windows.old folder on the C: drive
installing to the same machine will not invalidate the key. changing the motherboard may force reactivation.

what about windows 10 reset option, i've read that it could remove all apps and driver (so i don't have to bother with windows update later on). could this work?

I have not used the reset option but that sounds like what its meant for
